The intention of Prenatal Yoga is to prepare for your labor and create the optimal gestation for your baby: through the power of presence, posture, breathing and voice vibration. Prenatal yoga is also a way to develop an understanding of what is happening on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. Each week we introduce a specific theme that relates to pregnancy, for example: our mental states, the different stages of labour, being a parent. This class is an opportunity to let the go natural fear or expectations we may hold and move towards acceptance and courage. Sharing a space with other mother’s can feel extremely supportive. Prenatal yoga is suitable for any level of yoga. Second, third, fourth pregnancies welcome!
